Rates and Info (I am not accepting new clients at this time).
| Rates: | I charge $40 to 60 an hour. Most of the sites I have worked on have taken from 10 to 160 hours with the average site taking 80 hours to do. Typically the sites I design cost from $1000 to $6000. In some cases I have updated sites for free beacuse the work was so minor but in other cases the updates have actually exeeded the initial costs of the base site because they were so complicated.

In order to start a site, I need a domain name and a host (suggested hosts: vistapages.com and godaddy.com). If you don't have one I will get one for you through vistapages.com because I am a reseller and it will cost you like $11 a month. After that's done a concept design for the index page is created, then a site tree. A site tree looks like a family tree thing but with web pages instead of people. I also need to know your budget for the project so I know how many hours I can work on your site. After these things are done I will propose an idea (and another one if you don't like that one etc...). When you are happy with an idea, you give me the go ahead to start working on the rest of the site and I will send you links to finished pages as I work so you can check them and give changes if you need them. Everything I do eats up hours so flip flopping about something for a long time will add to the overall cost of the site. Likewise if things go really smoothly the overall cost may lower. Another thing that greatly helps me is knowing more about you and what visuals you want for your site.
